The first step
I chose the
tica.
tica.
So what is the tica and how it works?
When we work as an AC VOLT, WHEN THE tica is a very useful thing.
It has three outputs just like the transistor and mosfet Their PIN name is
m1 m2 get..
There are different types of tica but I've used hear bt 134tiac
It can operate at maximum 600 volt.
And its get vb is 12 volts.
This means that if I vb increase and decrease
Then the voltage will between m1 and m2 decrease and increase.
This formula should be used in our soldering iron to reduce the temperature of the warming
If the gate goes more than 12 volts,
The track will be BURN immediately,
To solve this problem, I've been using bd3 dice.
Now the question is
What is Dice?
How does the dice work?
for example, when one end the volt flows over 30 the only the diac releaase volts to the other end.
and in this process there is a drop of 3 volts,
that means symmetry is 3 volt,
And this process takes two microsecond.
so the Vb of the Dice is 30 to 32 volts.
so for the safety of the tica i connect a dice in the gate of the tiac.
so i made a simple diagram by which i can operate AC volts.
(lets see again how does tiac and diac works together.
so by connecting dice on the gate pin of of tice in seres, and regulating dice in between 1 to 12 volts then voltage will regulate from terminal 1 to 2 of the tice. )
so on the basis of the diagram i made a circuit, and it is working perfectly.
Second step
now i open the soldering iron’s back cover,
and i take a 100k pre set,
note guys- don’t use this type of pre sets because they don’t have any rubber cover.
I made a hole in the the soldering iron of the size of the pre set.
so now i set the preset in the soldering iron.
i solder trick M2 pin on one of the soldering iron’s terminal.
and solder dice with the gate pin of tice.
and with M1 pin of tice i connect a 1 microfarad capacitor in between dice’s another pin.
and i connect preset’s two pin through 10k and 100ohms resistor with dice pin 1 and tice’s terminal pin 2.
and i also attached a Led light for as a indicator.
so finally i put then inside and screw up the cover of the soldering iron.
and glued the preset with the body,
and glued a nap on the preset.
so as you can see our soldering iron is ready and now you can control the temperature as much as you want.
i made this on a 25watt soldering iron you can do this on a 60watt iron too.
I recommend you to buy a official temperature control soldering iron, cause this is not a official one.
If you don’t have any idea about basic electronic devices then please don’t do it, a small fault can cause damage to you.
